Any tool that supports MCP (Model Context Protocol) — Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, Windsurf, and more. After signing up, you paste one command and you're connected forever.
How do I know when to upgrade?
You don't have to figure it out. When your app needs a feature on a higher plan, your AI assistant will let you know and offer to set up the upgrade for you.
What happens if I hit my usage limit?
On the free plan, your app pauses until next month (no surprise bills). On paid plans, you can optionally enable auto-scaling to keep your app running — but it's off by default, so you're always in control.
Can I upgrade or downgrade anytime?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing. Downgrades take effect at the end of your billing period — you keep your current plan until then.
Do you offer annual billing?
Yes! Annual billing saves you 2 months. Growth is $190/year and Scale is $490/year. You can switch between monthly and annual anytime from the billing portal.
Are team members really free?
Yes. Unlike Vercel ($20/seat) or Render ($19/seat), blob includes unlimited team members on every plan. And unlike app builders (Bolt.new, Lovable, Base44), there are no credits to share or fight over.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The Starter plan is completely free — no credit card, no trial expiration. Upgrade only when you're ready.
What's “full server support” on the Scale plan?
Most apps run great on the standard runtime. But if your app needs native packages like sharp (image processing) or bcrypt (password hashing), or features like WebSockets, the Scale plan unlocks a full server environment.
